Top Gardens to See This Autumn

Autumn is a beautiful time of year which we should all embrace. The weather starts to get a chillier but we are still able to enjoy a few more hours of sunshine. The leaves on the trees start to turn from summer green into stunning reds, yellows and oranges.

We are all still able to spend some time in our lovely gardens simply add some Astro outdoor lights if you want to stay in it till dark. There are lots of beautiful gardens around the UK that you should also spend some time in before winter hits; here are 3 we recommend to visit:

Stourhead, Wiltshire If you are a fan of the newest version of the film Pride and Prejudice, then you will definitely want to visit this garden as it is were the proposal scene took place. The beautiful lake will look gorgeous on a clear day with the beautiful autumn colours reflecting in the water creating a picture perfect scene.

Thorpe Perrow, North Yorkshire

The Yorkshire Dales is a gorgeous place to visit and even more so at this time of year. Thorpe Perrow spreads out over 85 acres and has a number of rare shrubs and plants to look at. As well as the gorgeous scenery it is a great place to visit with kids as there is a mammal centre too.

Osterley Park and House, West London

As we are located in the London area we thought we should pick one closer to home and Osterley Park is a fantastic choice. The picturesque Georgian Estate will look even more dramatic when surrounded by the autumnal trees. As well as the gardens there are some quirky shops and lovely tea rooms to make it a great day out.
