The International Year Of Light

2015 is the International Year of Light, a global initiative adopted by the UN that aims to promote understanding for the role that light plays in the world, and why we need it so much. Throughout the year, hundreds of events will be taking place to celebrate and raise awareness of light discoveries. Not only will this educate people across the globe on the importance of light, it will also help to solve current challenges that we are facing in terms of sustainable development.
