Heritage Brass Fan Isolating Switch R01.8990.W in Polished Brass is typically used for isolating fan units in bathrooms and steam rooms. Usually fitted outside the room, this safety switch comes in handy when a mechanical repair is needed. Meeting BS EN 60669–1 standards, this fan isolator is CE-marked and meets the requirements of the Low Voltage and RoHS directives.

A Polished Brass finish gives brass a highly reflective, mirror-like sheen. It is often chosen for its bright glamorous appearance and ability to add a touch of luxury to your decor. However, these switches and sockets may require more frequent cleaning than other types of colour they are relatively easy to maintain, as they can be cleaned with a soft cloth and mild cleaning solution. Warranty Information

The performance of Heritage Brass electrical accessories is guaranteed for at least 5 years, (dimmer switches 1 year, plate finishes 2 years) providing the following conditions are met:

  1. The accessory has been properly installed complete with it's protective gasket, by a qualified electrician in accordance with the wiring regulations current at the time of installation.
  2. The accessory has been subjected to normal use and has not been altered or dismantled in any way.

Should the accessory fail to meet this standard of performance a replacement will be supplied without charge. This guarantee is in addition to the normal statutory rights of the customer.
