Yes. IP44 covers bathroom zone 2 — within 60cm of a bath or shower. For zone 1 directly above a bath or shower enclosure, a higher IP rating would be required.

What bulb does this fitting take?
A single G9 lamp (not included). An LED G9 is recommended for efficiency. For dimming, both the lamp and dimmer switch must be rated dimmable.
