The Hamilton Mercury 4 Channel 600W Dimmer Pack Kit with VFR lets you set, store and recall lighting scenes across four separate circuits from a single wall plate or handheld remote. The pack is a steel enclosure holding four independently dimmable 600W channels, each with its own 3A Type B MCB, plus a 100A main switch. It installs out of sight in a cupboard or riser, with control running to the wall plate on a SELV supply — so no mains voltage reaches the plate.

The fifth circuit is the VFR, or volt free relay. It switches rather than dims, and its contacts carry no voltage of their own, so the connected load takes power from a separate supply. That gives you somewhere for anything that can't be dimmed — blind and curtain motors, non-dimmable fittings, extract fans — and lets those circuits join a stored scene alongside the lighting. Maximum 3A.

The channels are designed for resistive loads and low voltage with selected electronic transformers. LEDs can be used but must be de-rated to a maximum of 150W per 600W channel, and Hamilton recommend confirming compatibility with your specific lamp before purchase.
