Timeguard SLW360N 360° Ceiling Mounted PIR Presence Detector

The Timeguard 360° ceiling-mounted PIR presence and occupancy detector is designed for surface installation in homes, offices, and commercial spaces. Operating at 230V AC, it detects motion across an 8-metre diameter and occupancy presence across a 4-metre diameter at a 3-metre mounting height, delivering blanket coverage from a single compact unit. Typical applications include corridors, offices, toilets, stairwells, shower rooms, and bathroom zone 2 — and with HVAC control built in, it manages lighting, heating, and ventilation loads from one device.

The adjustable LUX dial (1 to 1000 lux) sets the ambient light threshold at which the occupancy detector activates, giving day and night sensitivity control to suit any environment. ON time is user-adjustable from 3 seconds to 18 minutes via a dial on the unit. A Pulse override provides a manual permanent-on facility for when continuous light is needed, and staircase monitoring support makes it well suited to timed passage lighting.

Built from polycarbonate with a matt white finish, it surface-mounts directly to a ceiling or Besa box — fittings and a backplate are included. Up to 8 units can be wired in parallel for larger spaces. Rated IP44 (internal use only), Class II double-insulated

Frequently Asked Questions:

Does this detector have a dusk to dawn or photocell function?
No. The LUX dial controls the ambient light threshold at which the occupancy detector activates — it does not switch automatically at dusk without a motion trigger. There is no photocell included.

Can multiple units be installed in the same space?
Yes — up to 8 units can be wired in parallel, making it suitable for larger areas or longer corridors where a single detector would not provide full coverage.
