Description
The Astro Hashira Surface 250 indoor downlight in matt black is a contemporary faceted form inspired by neoclassical architecture. A modern feature anywhere in the home, the Hashira is particularly useful at adding impact to hallways. It provides a defined pool of light downwards, casting complex shadows that echo its shape. Dimmable when paired with a dimmable GU10 bulb. Made from aluminium which is 100% recyclable the Hashira is high quality, robust and durable and is supplied with Astro's 3 year guarantee. The Hashira does not come with a bulb and will require 1 x 6W Max LED GU10 MR16 shaped bulb, with a maximum length of 80mm. Featuring a push fit terminal block that allows for easy loop in/out wiring and toolless connection. An IP20 rating makes the Hashira suitable for indoor use only. This downlight is Class I - earthed for your safety. All Astro products are supplied with clear and comprehensive instructions for installation. Fixings for mounting on a solid surface are supplied, but you may need to purchase an alternative kit for mounting to a plaster or other non-solid surface.
Delivery & Collections
Mainland UK Deliveries:
Free Delivery on orders over £69. Any orders under £69 are charged at £5.95 including VAT. Items are always dispatched using our next day delivery service. If the items are not in stock, we will order them to our Cricklewood branch and deliver within 3 to 7 working days (stock dependent). Orders placed on weekends will be fulfilled the following Monday.
Deliveries to UK non-mainland and Republic of Ireland are on a two-day DPD service. If not in stock, items will be ordered to our Cricklewood branch and then delivered within 3 to 7 working days (stock dependent).
Any stock item orders placed before 1pm will be dispatched the same day via next day delivery. Orders after 1pm will be dispatched the following day.
If an item is not available, our sales department will contact you with an accurate restocking timeline.
UK Offshore & Northern Ireland
Deliveries to UK non-mainland and Republic of Ireland are on a two-day DPD service. If not in stock, items will be ordered to our Cricklewood branch and then delivered within 3 to 7 working days (stock dependent). Cost will vary based on location.
International Deliveries

Collections
For collections, please bring your order confirmation. We’ll contact you once the item is ready for collection from any of our 5 branches.

Faulty / Damaged Items:
