Inspired by neoclassical architecture, the Astro Shadow Surface 150 indoor downlight in plaster is a subtly decorative design. This contemporary faceted LED GU10 downlight works as a modern feature anywhere in the home. The Shadow provides ambient down lighting which is dimmable when paired with a dimmable LED GU10 bulb. Made from plaster which gives a sharp crisp aesthetic. This smooth finish looks stunning when left unfinished or painted to compliment your interior decor. The Shadow is supplied with Astro's 3 year guarantee. The Shadow does not come with a bulb and will require 1 x 6W Max LED GU10 MR16 shaped bulb, with a maximum length of 85mm. An IP20 rating makes the Shadow suitable for indoor use only and is Class I - earthed for your safety. All Astro products are supplied with clear and comprehensive instructions for installation. Fixings for mounting on a solid surface are supplied, but you may need to purchase an alternative kit for mounting to a plaster or other non-solid surface. The play of light across the pure white plaster facets of this light create a wonderful graduation of shadow. An artisan approach is taken as part of the development process, with each luminaire individually hand-crafted from high grade plaster, ensuring a completely smooth surface with crisp edges is achieved.
